A downloadable game for Windows and Linux

Control the construction and management of a station to run by yourself in single player, or online multiplayer with your friends in a variety of planetary and space environments. Complex atmospheric, electrical, manufacturing, medical, agriculture, and gravitational systems require your thought and management at all times!

Designed for hardcore players who want a game that is systems oriented. Full utilization and optimization of these complex systems will only come from great knowledge and practice. The game presents a variety of science-based survival problems that you must address. Resource and time pressures will drive your initial designs, but the demands of a thriving station will guide you later.

Beta Version! The current version here will update every time our steam beta branch does, if you want the stable version use the steam key and access it there. We will soon begin including the default branch version into Itch as well, but for now only the beta branch is accessible.

Features

  • Construction system rewards well-designed architectural, atmospheric, and electrical plans.
  • Atmospherics system for temperature, pressure, combustion, gas mixtures, water, and fire.
  • Physics on dynamic items in the world such as wall fatigue and explosive decompression.
  • Dangerous environments to explore & develop including exotic planets, and asteroid belts.
  • Deformable voxel terrain on worlds and asteroids that enhances mining and exploration.
  • Construct complex factories using machines, conveyors, and computers.
  • Ubiquitous logic system to automate every aspect of your base.
  • Write programs using Integrated circuits & assembly code to automate your systems.
  • Farm livestock and grow plants as an integral part of the station’s ecosystem.
  • Many aspects of the game offer full modding support via the Steam Workshop.
  • Designed from the ground up for multithreading to improve performance + scalability.

Space is empty and the planets are unforgiving to human life. You and your friends initially must decide how to meet your basic needs. Longer term, you will need to engineer solutions to power, heat, resource, and atmospheric problems. Build the most efficient systems you can by utilizing machines and programmable computers to develop automated systems.

Whether on a distant lonely planet, or deep inside an asteroid field, you control every aspect of building and running your station. Harvest nearby resources and use a wide range of tools to construct the ultimate station. Everything your station requires will be built and managed by you and your friends.

What do you do with all that ore you mine? Process it through machines and turn it into goods for more construction of course! There are lots of specialist machines to build and configure such as smelters, sorters, centrifuges, stackers, conveyors, fabricators and more.

Includes Steam Key! Your purchase includes a steam key, although sadly this will mean any review you make will not be included in steams score. If you love the game and want to have it on steam, please consider purchasing it there and giving the steam key to someone who might love the game!

The only game in any library I own with over 1500 hours of play over 5 years. It scratches an engineering itch that no other game does.

Besides base-building and surviving, we've made booby traps where people get catapulted into the atmosphere at the push of a button. So fun.

If you are into mechanical engineering, programming/configuring, or Arduino, STATIONEERS is for you.

Delightful game, just delightful. I remember seeing it some 6~ years ago and thinking against getting into it then, it being so early in development and being uncertain whether the game would be abandoned or not was enough to push it to the back of my mind and almost forget about. Flash forward to some time a week ago when it snuck back into my life somehow, against some odds. I didn't even realize until I got in game and saw the particles for air moving around that it was that game from 6 years ago its come so far.

This game has since consumed some great deal of my time both in and out of game, spending time not just playing but constantly thinking of it, this game has kept me up in bed rotating concepts and build ideas in my head while I toss and turn. I love it so much. Highly recommend. Glad I could buy it over Itch.io and get a steam key. Love to support a developer hope to someday grab some of the DLC.

Incredibly well made and enjoyable game with so much content and frequent updates and additions. The devs have made it known that they want to continue developing it and adding content for years to come and I look forward to every update. It really is so much fun to play, whether in multiplayer or solo. Stationeers challenges you to engineer your base and balance your systems with real-world accurate physics in a number of varied environments and circumstances. It is absolutely my Top Favorite Game and with 1,798 hours in game, I never get bored or tired of it. I highly recommend this game for anyone and everyone who enjoys science and/or engineering, base building, survival games, or just wants to see how many different ways you can blow something up. The game is really versatile and has so much content for players with a variety of different interests. Check it out, I promise you won't regret it.

Hallo zusammen, habe über 1000 Stunden in dem Spiel, der Wiederspielwert ist enorm. So viele Möglichkeiten..... LG

Stellar engineering & construction simulator which is constantly receiving a steady stream of updates. If you enjoyed the simulation parts of Space Station 13 you'll enjoy this game even more. The multiplayer works near flawlessly as well, which lends naturally to a rich cooperative environment for groups of friends or strangers to survive in.

When you first play, I highly recommend playing all the tutorials and reaching out on the official Discord for getting over the initial difficulty hump!

I love this game! I have the Steam copy and it is my most-played game to date. Honestly, I started out with a pirated version of the game, and I loved it so much that I bought it! I love the freedom and everything you can do in the game. I love the IC10 chips my favorite part of the game!

I would highly recommend it.
